Acceptance of Terms

We reserve the right to decline any project request at our discretion. Our availability is subject to scheduling and project workload.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are provided in writing following an on-site assessment of your property. Verbal estimates are not binding. A written estimate is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued, unless otherwise noted.

Final pricing may differ from the original estimate if conditions discovered during the project require additional materials or labor beyond what was visible at the time of the estimate. We will notify you of any material changes to scope or price before proceeding with additional work.

Estimates do not include permit fees, which are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified in writing. We will inform you whether a permit is required for your project.

Scheduling and Cancellation

Once a project is scheduled, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee, particularly where materials have been ordered or crew time has been reserved specifically for your project.

We will do our best to keep to the agreed schedule. Weather, permit delays, or unforeseen site conditions may require a change in the project start date. We will communicate any changes to you as soon as we are aware of them.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in the written quote or contract for your project. In general, a deposit may be required to confirm scheduling and to cover the cost of materials. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project and your final walkthrough.

Accepted payment methods will be stated in your written quote. Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late fee as stated in the project contract.

If a project is cancelled by the customer after materials have been ordered, the customer may be responsible for the cost of those materials.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate property information, confirming property boundaries before installation, obtaining HOA approval if required, and ensuring that the work area is accessible and clear on the scheduled installation date.

We are not liable for damages or delays resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer, including incorrect property line locations or undisclosed underground utilities. Please call 811 to request a utility locate before any digging work begins, or confirm with us that this has been arranged.

Warranty Disclaimers

We stand behind our workmanship. If a defect in our installation is reported within 1 year of project completion, we will assess and correct it at no charge, provided the issue is a result of our work and not external damage, weather events, or modifications made by others.

We pass along any manufacturer warranties for materials we install, but we do not independently warrant those materials beyond the manufacturer terms. Natural weathering, normal wear, or damage from impacts, vandalism, or acts of nature are not covered.

THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION ON IT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SLB San Leandro Fence Builder will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury or property damage caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Intellectual Property

Dispute Resolution
